The city of Santa Cruz installed a new round-about at the entrance to the wharf in Santa Cruz, CA. There were a total of 6 palm trees that had to be relocated to make way for the new construction. There were (3) single palms, a double and a triple. The singles were moved with the 90 inch tree spade, and a large crane was used to move the others. Bracing the multi-stem palms for stability during move and traffic challenges were overcome and the transplant was a success.
